A first glance, would you think this Tesla had a vinyl wrap on it? Or maybe even a custom paint job?
Looks can sometimes be deceiving… In actuality, this vehicle is covered in Xpel Stealth paint protection film! Made of the same clear polyurethane as the Xpel Ultimate film, the Stealth film can be applied to a vehicle to not only protect the paint but also create a matte finish similar to that of a vinyl wrap.
Blending seamlessly with wrapped edges, the Stealth film adds the protection you need against rock chips, bugs, and sun fading without adding gloss and shine to the vehicle. The biggest advantage to applying Stealth film instead of matte vinyl wrap is the level of protection it provides. Where vinyl wrap is only a mere 2mils thick and is easily torn or punctured by rocks, Xpel Stealth film is 4 times as thick at 8mils and is much more durable.

Installation
A project like this usually takes a couple days to complete but begins the same as any other. We wash the areas with soap and water where we will be installing film, followed by using a clay bar to make sure they paint is completely free of debris.
Next we apply a spray wax that helps with the installation process and removal later down the road.
Then the film is sprayed down, applied to the vehicle, and squeegeed out into place.
